bought as a gift for my sister and she loved it.

she couldn't have been happier with this. Put it outside under her gazebo and she was thrilled.

Does not work right

The battery holders did not fit the batteries right and it does not stay on for very long. It randomly turns off and won‚Äôt turn back on.

Globe Christmas lights

We sent these back because each one had to be plugged in to a outlet. We recordered the ones that are bettery-powered. I only gave it a "3" because I didn't understand what I was ordering. Re-read everything and decided we wanted the battery powered ones. I had been wanting these globular lights for a long time. Glad I found them, and we'll be looking forward to next Christmas. We then got the battery powered ones, but they came after Christmas. I trust they will work. They are up in the attic now.

If you have a good outdoor location these look great.

Haven't used the timer function. The function control for the colored balls has a very short range. You have to be within 6 ft. They appear to be very well made and should hold up outdoors. Just be sure the are well anchored if frequent wind storms can occur.
